KAMSA KAMSA, Riyadh, KSA. (motor ride)

(me in my motor bike)
Saturday, ‎April ‎14, ‎2012, ‏‎3:14:30 PM
We've gone to Kamsa Kamsa as what they call it here in Riyadh, I'm with my sister , mom and dad. It was actually our 1st out of town bonding since I got here in KSA so I was so excited.
In Riyadh, unlike in the Philippines their weekend is THURS and FRI, instead of SAT and SUN. Luckily for me my family is currently on vacation from work and school that's why we can go out together.  During the ride my family was already boasting about how jam packed the place would have been during weekends because of its popularity here in Riyadh, us going there on a Saturday afternoon, well I was expecting to see less people. (This is also the reason I can’t rate all of their facilities coz some of them are currently closed at that time. Sorry. )
(4wheeled motor bike)
So as I was saying, it took us about 30min drive from our house in the city to Kamsa Kamsa. Upon arrival I saw the place it was actually nice, they have billiard tables, cottages, and a track where you can ride the 4wheeled motor bike (it would be 50SR/hour). The track has slopes (up-down-up-down), rocky paths, wide space for group riders, and a race track (though me and my sister can’t go in because it’s only for males, haha). We took two bikes and rode off. (me with my mom and my dad with my younger sister).

(haha, behind me are the cottages and billiard tables! XD )
Actually though I had experience riding a 2 wheeled motor bike it was my 1st time riding a 4wheeled one. And when we’ve gone to the slopes I was a bit scared thinking how can a small bike like this take a stiff slope like that O.O  ..well, after seeing my younger sister do it I eat my guts out and rode off the slope! And God! It sure is stiff! Upon reaching the top though, we saw this magnificent view it was like a mountain curved to look like a maze and it was beautiful.
(mom and dad!! sweetttt!! :"> )

Me and my sister also played around the wide open area and she taught me how to drift, (though we didn't have it on cam because my mom would definitely kill us! Haha)

(after we did a drift.. dunno if the marks on the sand are visible XD )
Here in Riyadh it’s already the start of the summer heat, so after making a few turns we decided to call it a day. Though short we really did enjoy the ride J

TIPS:
1. Bring bottles of water (it’s really hot)
2. Put on sunblock (reapply every 2hours if you’re going to stay there for a while)
3. Towel and extra clothes (just to make sure if ever you feel so sweaty)

RATINGS:
*Enjoyment=4/5
*Motor bikes functionality=3/5 (some of the bikes acceleration button are hard to push, no safety belts)
*Facilities (comfort room, cottage, etc.)=3/5 (haven’t experienced it 1st hand but my sister told me that it do need a lil furnishing, well we should also take into consideration the weather because we commonly experience sand storms here).
